Manitowoc man indicted on firearm and methamphetamine charges

MANITOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A three-count federal indictment was unsealed Monday against Anthony Moore, 32, of Manitowoc.

The indictment alleges that Anthony C. Moore possessed methamphetamine with the intent to distribute the controlled substance and did so while in the possession of a firearm. It further alleges that Moore’s status as a convicted felon prohibited him from ever possessing a firearm.

Moore faces a mandatory five-year prison sentence and up to a life sentence, if convicted of the charges alleged.
