WISCONSIN (CBS 58) – Restaurant chain McDonald’s announced Tuesday the company and its franchisees will invest around $166 million in Wisconsin restaurants throughout 2018 and 2019.
The money will go toward the construction and modernization of more than 215 McDonald’s locations throughout the state.
According to the company, the renovated restaurants will feature modern dining rooms with local and global inspired décor, digital self-order kiosks, digital menu boards and designated parking spots for curb-side pick-up through mobile ordering.
In total, the company and its franchisees will be investing around $6 billion to modernize restaurants throughout the U.S. by 2020.
