MCTS congratulates MVP Christian Yelich with special messages on buses

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Transit System is recognizing and honoring Brewers MVP Christian Yelich.

The front display screen on all 400+ buses in the MCTS fleet will flash with the words 'CONGRATS YELICH.'

Prior to the MVP announcement, Route 22 was temporarily renamed the YELICH LINE in honor of his uniform number. Due to the amount of people who retweeted the original announcement, MCTS will honorarily rename the Route 22 the YELICH LINE for the entire baseball season in 2019.
