MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Members of the 128th Air Refuling Wing were serving up smiles on Thursday!
They were at elementary schools in the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District, handing out "smiley potatoes" and putting smiles on kids' faces.
"They were friendly to give us some fries and chicken nuggets," one student said.
Students also wrote letters to military men and women. The district's food service provider will be sending the letters to members of the Wisconsin military serving overseas.
