Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office monitors sex offenders on Halloween
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, along with other local law enforcement, carried out \"Knock and Talks\" at the homes of sex offenders to make sure they were not violating any Halloween rules.
There were about 12 crews, each in charge of visiting 10 to 15 houses, in Milwaukee County on Sunday afternoon.
The rules for the sex offenders include; no handing out any candy, no Halloween costumes or decorations outside or inside their home, and they had to be home an hour before trick-or treating started and an hour after it ended.
\"It's good that we do this so we can find people who aren't compiling with the rules and regulations,\" said Detective Aaron Dobson.
Detectives also arrested sex offenders with arrest warrants and those who failed to register as a sex offender.
