MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Zoo is welcoming several new residents this winter. Megan O’Shea discussed the latest additions when she joined us on Thursday, Feb. 13, highlighting new arrivals that visitors can see both indoors and outdoors.
A caribou named Maeve is now in the North America habitat, while a Giant Pacific Octopus named Flurry has taken residence in the Aquatic & Reptile Center. The zoo also received a jaguar named Filly from the Belize Zoo. She is currently in quarantine, a standard process for new arrivals, but is expected to be publicly viewable soon.
The zoo is open year-round, with the next Family Free Day scheduled for Saturday, March 1.
More information can be found on the zoo’s website.
