Milwaukee Police: 19-year-old shot, drove himself to district headquarters for help

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 19-year-old Milwaukee man is recovering after being shot overnight.

Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, the man drove himself to Milwaukee Police District Six Headquarters and reported that he was shot.

The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to the station and took the victim to a local hospital where he is being treated for what is believed to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The investigation revealed that the man was shot near 32nd and Scott.

The shooting remains under investigation.
