MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that took place in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 3. 

Around 12:18 a.m. police say a 33-year-old man was shot near N. Farwell Ave. and E. Royall Pl. 

Police say the victim was taken to a hospital, treated for his injuries, and is expected to survive. 

Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspects.
