Milwaukee Police investigate two overnight shootings; one fatal

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating two separate overnight shootings including one where a 23-year-old male was killed.

Police were called out to the area of 35th and Hampton around 1:35 AM Sunday after a 54-year-old woman was shot in the hand after arguing with a male suspect.

She was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police are still searching for the male suspect.

Around 3:20 AM officers responded to the area of 99th and Beale for a male lying in the snow.

Officers discovered that the 23-year-old man was suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The Milwaukee Fire Department attempted life saving measures, but were unsuccessful.

The investigation into this incident continues.
