MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a man who followed a 13-year-old girl as she walked home from school.
It happened in the 1000 block of W. Walnut Street on March 1.
The suspect is described as a black man in his mid to late twenties with a dark skin complexion. He was last seen wearing a green and gold Green Bay Packers baseball cap.
The man allegedly drove alongside the girl in a white older model vehicle.
According to police, the man told the girl to get in his car but she refused. He then drove away.
Police say that as the girl continued to walk in the area, she saw his vehicle parked ahead of her near the end of the block.
As the girl got to the end of the block, the man made a u-turn and drove away.
The girl says she has not seen the man or the car since the incident.
Police are investigating.
There is currently no surveillance video or picture available.
