MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee School of Languages has been honored as a 2022 School of Excellence winner by the American College Application Campaign.
The recognition comes as part of the Wisconsin Students Go 2 College program, which aims to increase the number of first-generation college students and students from low-income families pursuing higher education credentials.
The ACAC selected 23 schools nationwide for the School of Excellence award, based on their demonstrated commitment to student success and for serving as exemplary models for their state's college application campaign.
Milwaukee School of Languages is among those recognized this year.
To learn more about the honor, we spoke to A'Jeanette Gordon, Education Specialist and Community Liaison for Wisconsin Education Opportunity Programs, Brittany Breene, College and Career Center Advisor for Milwaukee School of Languages and Dulce Rocas Bucio, Guidance Counselor at Milwaukee School of Languages on Thursday, April 13.
They shared more about the school's achievements and initiatives.
