CBS 58's Feel Good Fridays: Art competition, family films and water fun

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Joe Krauss of B93.3 joined us Friday, June 6 to preview several family-friendly events happening across the Milwaukee area this weekend.

Sunday Family Fun Day will return to Community Park on the Summerfest grounds on Sunday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to attend. This week’s lineup includes hands-on activities and appearances by Discovery World, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast and other groups.

Marcus Theatres will resume its Kids Dream Family Film Series beginning Saturday, June 8. Films run through July 31 at participating locations for $3 admission.

Art64 will continue Friday and Saturday in the Village of Wauwatosa on Harwood Ave. The bracket-style art competition features 64 painters working live, with public voting. Admission is free.

A new inflatable water playground opens Friday in West Bend. The Aquapark at Regner Beach runs 1 to 7 p.m. on Friday, with regular hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Brewers host the Padres this weekend. A replica jersey giveaway takes place Saturday, with a kids’ base run scheduled for Sunday.
