Mother and Young Child Taken to Hospital after Crashing into Ambulance

A mother and her young child were rushed to the hospital around 3:30 this morning after their van crossed the center line and collided with an ambulance in Dodge County. 

The mother was trapped in the wreckage and had to be removed by first responders.

 The child was not hurt and the ambulance was not transporting a patient at the time.
