Motorcyclist injured after accident in Greenfield

GREENFIELD, Wis.  (CBS 58) -- Greenfield police responded to an accident on Friday, Aug. 23. 

It happened near South 108th and Beloit around 11:14 a.m.

According to police, they responded to an accident involving a motorcycle and a passenger car. Emergency personnel arrived and found that the 25-year-old motorcyclist from Milwaukee had suffered from serious injuries. 

The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital is being treated for life threatening injuries, according to police. 

The driver of the car, a 67-year-old from New Berlin, was not injured. Police say the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with investigation. 

The investigation is ongoing.
