Veteran job fair to connect military community with employers in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A job fair tailored to veterans, active-duty military and their spouses is scheduled to be held Thursday, April 17 at the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in War Memorial Hall, according to the Milwaukee VA’s Vocational Rehabilitation Service.
More than 35 employers are expected to participate, representing professional fields such as manufacturing, healthcare, education, logistics and finance. The job fair, which will be held in collaboration with Naval Station Great Lakes’ Transition Assistance Program, is free and open to those eligible.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with recruiters and may participate in on-site interviews.
The event does not require registration. Résumés are encouraged and the event will be held regardless of weather conditions.
