MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The investigation into an officer-involved shooting in Mount Pleasant has been turned over to the Racine County District Attorney.

Racine Police initially investigated the death of 18-year-old Tyrese West, who was shot by a Mount Pleasant officer on June 15.
Their preliminary findings were recently delivered to the DA to determine if charges should be filed.
Mount Pleasant Police Department says West refused commands when it was discovered he was armed with a gun.
