MILWAUKE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that left one person hospitalized and another dead near 41st and Custer.

Officers say they responded to the scene Monday, May 19 after a reported shooting around 9:50 p.m. A 36-year-old was found with serious gunshot wounds and transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to police.

A 38-year-old suspect was also located at the scene with what authorities believe to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were attempted, but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the incident appears to be domestic violence-related and they are not seeking additional suspects.
