FREDONIA, OZAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A generator fire prompted Ozaukee County fire crews to respond to Northern Ozaukee High School during the morning hours of Sunday July 13.

The Fredonia Fire Department Chief says that thanks to someone that lived nearby calling in the flames and black smoke, multiple crews responded and were able to contain the flames with minor damage.

CBS 58 crews were on scene as responders put out the fire and ventilated the building shortly after 10:00 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

While there is no current timeline for cleanup, the superintendent says it won't affect the upcoming school year.
