(NEW BERLIN) - For his birthday, A New Berlin boy wanted to collect spare change at his party in order to perform an act of kindness. Little did he know his idea would spread all over the world.
Rylan’s story shows it doesn't take much to show someone you care. For his birthday, the 9-year old held a fundraiser asking invitees to bring spare change. He hoped to raise enough to make a companion doll for one special child. But with the help of friends and family he ended up raising more than $700.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Pari Cruz shared how Rylan’s efforts are bringing comfort to some deserving children.
