Pioneer in Milwaukee youth baseball, James Beckum, dies at 95
GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Knocking down a barricade a hundred years in the making. The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, DNR, and Milwaukee County Parks System are now putting the finishing touches on a multi-million-dollar project providing a bypass around a five-foot blockade and allowing for native fish to swim upstream to their native spawning habitats. More specifically, it's Kletzsch Dam in Glendale. Anglers are excited about the possibility of catching even more Lake Sturgeon, salmon, and trout as early as this spring.
Michael Schlesinger shared more about the project on CBS 58 Sunday Morning.
