Nominate your favorite Milwaukee-area teacher to win delicious pizza from Lou Malnati's
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Teacher Appreciation Week is just around the corner, May 2-6, and Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria is hosting a special nomination and recognition process to honor local teachers for their hard work and dedication.
Students K-12 in the Milwaukee area can nominate their favorite teacher online to win recognition and delicious pizza prizes.
Lou Malnati’s wants to hear in 100 words or less why your favorite teacher is awesome and deserves to be recognized. Students can use an online form to nominate any teacher from a public or private school throughout Milwaukee and the surrounding communities. While students of all grades K-12 can submit a nomination, those who are age 13 and under will need a parent’s approval.
“Teachers are the backbone of our local communities,” says Marc Malnati, owner, a second-generation family member who proudly carries on the Malnati family tradition. “They work hard every day to give our kids the tools to learn, grow and thrive. We’re excited to honor them and give appreciation for all they do for our kids, families and communities.”
Winners will be chosen by the Lou Malnati’s local Milwaukee area team from qualified nominees based on originality and reasoning. One grand prize winner will be awarded with a $500 gift card to Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria along with a special pizza party pack dropped to their school. Additionally, four honorable mentions will be chosen to win a $100 Lou Malnati’s gift card and goodie basket.
Nominations will be accepted Monday, April 11 through Friday, April 22, with winners selected at the end of April and prizes bestowed during Teacher Appreciation Week.
