Nyjer Morgan to throw out first pitch in Game 2 of Wild Card series

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Former Brewer Nyjer Morgan is back to throw out the first pitch for Wednesday night's game. 

Morgan, who called himself "T-Plush" in his playing days, was one of the most colorful characters in franchise history. 

He's doing the first pitch honors Wednesday night, because he had the walk off hit in 2011 that gave the Brewers a playoff series win against the Diamondbacks.

"Yeah, it's everything, you know," said Morgan. "After last night with the loss, you know, now that I can bring my energy and bring what I'm gonna bring. You see I'm sweating, I got that good energy. I'm very excited and hopefully I can feel it from the crowd, and they feel it, and the guys, they can feel it, and they get that W tonight."
