Oconomowoc folk musician Erik Lunde returns home for Arts Center concert 🎸
OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Oconomowoc folk musician Erik Lunde is set to play the Oconomowoc Arts Center's Main Stage as part of the venue's 16th season.
After embarking on a musical journey that took him across North America, Mexico and Europe beginning nearly 40 years ago, Lunde is set to return to his hometown with his band on Saturday, Sept. 23.
The Colorado-based folk-rock poet and American songwriter will perform at 7 p.m. and will include original songs, as well as cover songs from Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and more.
Lunde's passion for music began in his youth, as he reflected in a press release announcing the concert.
"Growing up in Oconomowoc, there was this focus on the arts, and I was surrounded by people who nurtured and inspired me through music. It was a freer and gentler time, and it seems like a lifetime ago, but that music stayed with me. It's a part of my DNA," Lunde said.
