Olympic gold medal gymnast Simone Biles will be at Fiserv Forum on Oct. 16

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Simone Biles will be in Milwaukee at the Fiserv Forum on Oct. 16.

Biles is an American artistic gymnast who has won a total of 30 Olympic and World Championship medals.

Biles' stop in Milwaukee is part of her 'Gold Over America Tour' which is a celebration of powerful female athletes who represent women's gymnastics in hopes to inspire the next generation, officials say.

The tour will feature an all-star team of gymnasts including Laurie Hernandez, Katelyn Ohashi, Peng Peng Lee, Danusia Francis, and Morgan Hurd. From September through November, the team will tour 35 cities.

The 24-year-old superstar claimed her seventh national women's all-around title on Sunday, June 7 in Fort Worth, Texas at the US Gymnastics Championships. Biles will be at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. The Olympics run from Friday, July 23 through Sunday, Aug. 8.
