Packers Coach Mike McCarthy gives update on Rodgers' knee injury, says status is day-to-day
GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Packers Coach Mike McCarthy says Rodgers' status is day-to-day ahead of Sunday's game.
McCarthy would not promise that Rodgers would play in Sunday's game against the Vikings after injuring his knee in last Sunday's game against the Bears.
McCarthy: Aaron Rodgers will work in the rehab group in today's practice...He'll be given the whole week to get ready. We'll take it day-by-day.

Rodgers was not on the field in the portion of practice open to media Wednesday morning.
Aaron Rodgers says he’s feeling “a little bit better” today. Says he did not take the field today. Was inside rehabbing.

As the Packers prepare for the Vikings, while they hope to see Rodgers play, they are also prepared in case Deshone Kizer gets playing time once again.
"Well I think it's important to set your game plan to attack the defense, so obviously we're quarterback driven as far as the starting point for our offense so at what level will Deshaun operate the game plan compared to Aaron? That's really to be seen," McCarthy said Wednesday.
