MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The family tradition of Packers family night returned to Lambeau Field through a storm.
"This is everything to us and this family," Eric Sauld said. "I proposed to my wife right over there. Right over there at the cell comm. And we actually celebrated our first year of marriage, we had our wedding in the atrium."
There was a moment where fans were sent to huddle in the concourse because of lightning, and they worried they would miss family night from the stands for a second straight year.
"I've never actually been to Lambeau Field before, so it's pretty exciting," Decilyn Clark said. "Kind of a bummer that, you know, the storm is throwing things off though."
"Kind of sad," Faith Weiting said. "But i get it, with like, the lightning and everything."
They didn't have to worry for long, and a roar went through the concourse when fans got the all clear.
"It means a lot because we weren't able to be here last year obviously, and we make it a tradition to come out every year, so we're really excited to be back here," Christy Toft said.
Fans will have their first chance to see a preseason game in person for the first time since 2019 next Satruday.
