MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 33-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street near 91st and Brown Deer in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee Police identified the victim as Allen Sieler.
The crash happened just before 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 9.
“It’s a tragedy like that to see someone die in front of you," said Marvell Harmon, witness.
Police say the driver of the vehicle that hit the pedestrian stayed on the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
A witness was waiting at the bus stop when he saw the victim run off into the street.
“She wasn’t trying to hit, she was driving normal and he got hit," said Harmon.
When Harmon saw what happened, he ran over and called 911.
“When I first came up here there were officers on the scene trying to resuscitate the individual that is now deceased," said Leonard Gilmore, witness.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.
