Police investigating numerous entry to vehicle reports in Whitefish Bay, Shorewood
MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Both the Whitefish Bay and Shorewood police departments have taken numerous entry to vehicle reports.
It happened to cars over the weekend.
Shorewood Police say all of the vehicles were left unlocked.
In one incident, Shorewood police say the suspects took a purse containing credit cards and the credit cards were used fraudulently.
Shorewood police say the reported entries occurred in the following locations; 2300 and 2600 block of Beverly, 4000 block of Stowell, 4100 block of Murray, 4500 block of Sheffield, 4600 block of Ardmore, 4300 block of Woodburn, 3800 block of Morris. Others were in Whitefish Bay.
Whitefish Bay Police say people were seen walking up driveways and pulling on car door handles. They say there were no reports of thefts related to those incidents in their city.
