UPDATE: Missing Fort Atkinson woman and her 4-year-old daughter found safe

UPDATE: FORT ATKINSON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Fort Atkinson police say 35-year-old Lindsay Harter and her 4-year-old daughter Lindsay were found safe in the Madison area Thursday morning.

FORT ATKINSON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police are asking for help to find a missing Fort Atkinson woman and her 4-year-old daughter.
According to Fort Atkinson Police, 35-year-old Lindsay Harter last spoke with family around 3:00-3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. She is said to be with her daughter Lily in a 2009 4-door gray or silver Ford Fusion with Wisconsin plates 906ZUB.
Police say Lindsay has medical issues and has previously driven to other areas of Wisconsin where she has been confused as to where she was and why she was there.
Lindsay was last seen on Highway 58 near Ithaca around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. A citizen told police Lindsay was stopped in the traffic lane, out of gas, on Highway 58 near Ithaca. The citizen said she gave Lindsay gas money but felt uneasy because Lindsay seemed confused and her daughter was not in a car seat. The woman offered to buy a car seat for her, but Lindsay refused.
Police say the last cell phone tower ping that was active was at 5:30 Thursday morning near Westby, Wisconsin.
Lindsay is described as a white woman with hazel eyes and brown hair, about 5'6" tall and 175 pounds.
