Police officers in Wisconsin to stake out Dunkin' Donuts rooftops to support special olympics
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For the seventh year in a row, hundreds of law enforcement officers from throughout the state will be staking out Dunkin' Donuts rooftops.
It's all to support the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Wisconsin.
Officers will be atop 59 Dunkin' Donuts rooftops on Friday, August 17 from 6 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Last year, officers raised more than $74,00 from 51 Dunkin Donuts. They're hoping to top that this year.
Dunkin’ Donuts will also donate $5,000 to the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
In addition, each guest who visits a Cop on a Rooftop location that day and makes a donation will receive a Free Medium Hot or Iced Coffee coupon. (Limit one per customer)
