Police warn of reckless driving after scary crash in Greendale, teens left with minor injuries

GREENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Greendale police are investigating a scary car crash that left teens with minor injuries that happened on Oct. 11.

It happened near River Parkway and Parkview Road in Greendale.

Police say two juveniles were in one vehicle and one juvenile was in another vehicle. They were racing on the parkway after their local school had let out for the day.

Police say as they were racing, side-by-side, they encountered an on-coming truck. At that point one of the vehicles of the juveniles swerved, striking the other racing vehicle.

Both of those vehicles swerved off the roadway, one hit a tree and the other vehicle rolled over.

Police are warning of reckless driving after this incident.
