Public vote underway to name We Energies falcon chicks after 'founding feathers'

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- We Energies is inviting the public to help name this year’s peregrine falcon chicks after 20 influential falcons from the company’s conservation program history.
Voting is open through Thursday, May 8, and the selected names will be assigned to chicks hatching at We Energies and Wisconsin Public Service nest sites.
The candidates include Atlanta, Beasley, Beth, Breezer, Brinn, Eclipse, Flaps, Hercules, Icon, Ives, Leopold, Maya, Michael, PBR, Presque, Rosalee, Scott, Scout, Swede and Thilmany. These falcons represent over 30 years of nesting activity and have collectively raised hundreds of chicks at power plants across Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula.
People are invited to learn more about the falcons and cast votes online, and multiple votes can be cast. Video from current nest sites is also available for watching. Click here for complete details.
