Racine man charged after punching neighbor in face during fight over snow-blowing

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine Police were dispatched to a home in the 2400 block of 20th Street for a report of an assault.

It happened on Sunday afternoon.

Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who said he was snow blowing his property and his neighbor's property because he was out of town. The victim said while he was doing that, the suspect accused him of purposefully blowing snow onto the street.

The victim said it was an accident and cleaned up the snow on the street.

The victim said the suspect then came onto his property and said he was blowing snow onto the parkway.

The victim told police that the suspect then punched him three times, causing pain. Police observed dried blood and lacerations to the victim's lower lip.

Police met with the suspect who admitted to getting into an argument with the victim over snow blowing but denied that he punched him in the face.
