RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Zoo is preparing for a fun fall calendar of events, highlighted by activities designed for Halloween fans and cocktail aficionados alike.
Beth Heidorn, Racine Zoo Executive Director, shared details when she joined us on Monday, Sept. 25.
The schedule features Jack-O'-Lantern Nights running from Sept. 28 to Oct. 29 on Thursdays through Sundays between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m, showcasing over 1,000 intricately designed jack-o'-lanterns, accompanied by additional light displays.
On Oct. 7 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the zoo will host Old Fashioned Cocktail Night, appropriately titled for offering a selection of old-fashioned cocktails and live music. The event is open to individuals 21 and older, with tickets priced at $45 for general admission and $25 for non-drinkers. Pre-registration is required.
Finally, Boo at the Zoo is set for Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring outdoor trick-or-treating and activities like pumpkin decorating and Halloween crafts. The event is included with regular zoo admission.
For the various events, participation details and admission prices can be found on the Racine Zoo's website.
