Racine Zoo to host 2018 Slumber Safari

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Zoo is inviting guests to sleep over with the lions, tigers, and bears at the 2018 Slumber Safari.

The Slumber Safari will offer a pizza dinner, a guided tour throughout the zoo, s'mores, a campfire, and more.

Guests are invited to bring their own tent or rent one from the Zoo.

Guests can also add the option of a behind-the-scenes tour of the Zoo's giraffes and rhinos.

After a restful night under the stars along the shoreline of Lake Michigan, guests will enjoy a continental breakfast and have the ability to watch the animals enjoy their own breakfasts when the zoo opens in the morning.

The Racine Zoo's 2018 Slumber Safari begins Aug. 24 at 5pm and continues until 9am the following day. Pre-registration is required. Contact the Conservation Education Department at 262-636-9580 or [email protected] to book you and your family for Slumber Safari 2018.
