RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Zoo is welcoming a new resident -- Missy, a Linnae's two-toed sloth.
Missy is 28 years old and arrived in Racine late last spring after making the trip from Cleveland Zoo.
The Racine Zoo says she's been housed off exhibit while staff worked on renovating her new home. This week, she was introduced to her new exhibit in the zoo's Vanishing Kingdom.
Staff says she's adjusting well to her new enclosure and "making herself at home" with the Bearded Emperor tamarins, Gianna, Gabriella and Mattesich.
“Missy warmed up to her new keepers very quickly and will even take treats we offer,” said Emma Thomas, one of Missy’s caregivers.
Guests can find her next to the Gibbon exhibit on the south side of the building.
