Remembering John Lennon 40 years after his death

Today. Dec. 8,  marks 40-years since one of the greatest tragedies to hit the music world: the death of John Lennon. 

Monday, Dec. 7, fans of John Lennon came together at the memorial in New York's Central Park known as "Strawberry Fields." 

Some of the fans were also there on that tragic night 40 years ago, when The Beatles legend was gunned down outside his apartment at the age of 40. 

Lennon's fans say his music is still an inspiration, even a generation after he left us.
