Semi crash causes major backups on I-94 in Kenosha County

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A semi crash in Kenosha County causes major headaches during the morning commute Thursday. 

The semi truck driver was driving on I-94 West near Highway E when he crashed into the middle barricade. The semi had two trailers attached and one flipped on its side. It happened at 6:00 Thursday morning and the highway was closed for hours as crews cleaned up the mess. The driver was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. 

The cause of the crash is still unknown and under investigation.
