Semi truck carrying McDonald's fries overturns on California freeway

IRVINE (CBSLA) — Authorities say a big-rig truck overturned on a California freeway, spilling McDonald’s french fries across lanes.

The crash happened overnight Saturday on the southbound 5 Freeway near Culver Avenue in Irvine.

All lanes have since been opened but cleanup is underway.

No one was hurt.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
