MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a shots fired incident, that lead to a seven hour stand-off, which eventually ended early Tuesday, Mar. 9.
According to MPD, officers observed two individuals fire shots near N. 27th St. and W. Burleigh St. around 5:20 p.m. on Monday, Mar. 8. The suspects then then fled into a nearby residence.
MPD's Tactical Enforcement Unit responded, and began to communicate with those inside the residence to come out.
Around 12:30 a.m., several people surrendered and were taken into custody without incident.
