Chelan County Sheriff\'s Office

CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. (CBS 58) -- The Chelan County Sheriff's Office says they are still searching for triple homicide suspect Travis Decker, debunking a TikTok video which they say claims Decker has been taken into custody.

In an update posted on social media Tuesday, June 17, the sheriff's office said they were made aware of a video which reportedly portrays Sheriff Morrison and claims Decker has been arrested after a long standoff.

Sheriff's officials reiterated that Decker is not in custody, and that they had no part in making the video.

They say teams continue to search on the ground and from the air, while detectives continue an in-depth investigation. The WA Army National Guard and the US Marshals Service are conducting collaborative search efforts.

The US Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading directly to Travis Decker's arrest.

The sheriff's office also shared photos of what Decker could potentially look like if he altered his appearance.

If you see Travis Decker, you're asked to call 911 immediately and do not attempt to contact or approach him as he is considered dangerous and potentially armed. Anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest U.S. Marshals office, the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102, or USMS Tips at www.usmarshals.gov/tips.
