MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Tuesday, June 24 near the corner of 11th and Scott.

The shooting happened just after 10 p.m., according to police. The 47-year-old victim sustained gunshot wounds and was treated at a local hospital but was ultimately pronounced dead.

Police said the circumstances leading to the shooting are under investigation. No suspects have been identified or taken into custody.
