Sip & Purr Cat Cafe relocating to Brady Street

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Sip & Purr Cat Cafe is set to relocate to 833 E. Brady Street early 2024. Following a deal anticipated to finalize later this year, the cafe will also be purchasing the building housing its new location.

Founder and owner Katy McHugh said in a Thursday, Oct. 12 press release, "Purchasing our own building will allow us to take cat rescue to the next level."

Since its inception in 2018, Sip & Purr, in collaboration with Lakeland Animal Shelter in Delavan, has successfully facilitated the adoption of over 1,350 cats. They have also integrated a boutique, foster program and an international initiative known as the Sip & Purr Scholarship Adoption Program.

Sip & Purr will remain open at 2021 E. Ivanhoe Place until the end of the year.
