Multiple chances for strong to severe storms this weekend
Enjoy today’s forecast even with the cloud cover. Temps will be below average and clouds will be prevalent during the day, however, the weather will be quiet. That won’t be the case Friday. We are forecasting more snowfall for the end of the work week with another weak disturbance. This will swing light snow for the evening commute into Saturday morning. Most of the viewing area will see around an inch of fresh snowfall to start Meteorological Spring and the first day of March.
If you thought snow was bad to start the spring season, it gets worse. Another blast of arctic air is expected in the Badger State with some of the coldest March weather we have seen in years. We could see two or three days of highs in the single digits and at least two nights with lows falling below zero. It could get dangerously cold with the wind chills as well. Stay tuned!
