Susan G. Komen Will Grant Just Over a Million Dollars to Organizations Fighting Against Breast Cancer

If you were one of the thousands who ran or walked in last September's Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in Milwaukee, or maybe you know someone who did, you'll want to hear this!

Susan G Komen Wisconsin announced today that it will grant just over a million dollars to 11 organizations involved in the fight against breast cancer.

The money goes to groups like Columbia St. mary's "Mammography Mobile Outreach Project" in Walkers Point.

Since 1999, Komen Wisconsin has provided almost 18 million dollars to community projects thanks to events like "Race for the Cure."
