Suspicious death investigation underway after human remains discovered in Racine County

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The woman's remains have been identified as Audrey Scott. A woman missing from Milwaukee since July 4.

RACINE, WIS. (CBS 58) -- The Racine County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a suspicious death investigation after human remains were discovered in the Town of Yorkville on Wednesday morning.
The Milwaukee Police Department is assisting in the investigation and confirming the victim’s identity; whom police believe is from the Milwaukee area.
The investigation remains ongoing.
