Teens arrested in Whitefish Bay for bike robbery, showed gun on playground

WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Whitefish Bay police report that on Friday, Oct. 6 around 6:28 p.m., they went to Cumberland Elementary School at 4780 N. Marlborough Dr. for a report of a teen showing a gun to other kids on the playground and attempting to take someone's football and bike. The suspect was with two other teens.

Police say upon arriving at the scene, officers found all three suspects.

A 15-year-old boy from Glendale was arrested for Robbery. A 14-year-old boy from Milwaukee and a 14-year-old girl from Virginia Beach, Virginia were arrested for Robbery - Party to a Crime.

Police located a replica Glock handgun that was actually a BB gun.

Charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. Police say they believe this an isolated incident, and there is no further threat to the community.
