Two men die in separate shootings Wednesday night
Two men were killed in separate shootings in Milwaukee Wednesday night.
According to the Milwaukee Police, the first shooting occurred around 8:50 p.m. in the 2600 block of W. Juneau where two men were arguing. One pulled out a gun and fired several shots, striking and killing a 36-year-old man and wounding a 48-year-old woman who was not involved in the argument. She received a non-life threatening injury. Police investigators are working the identify the shooter.
Less than 30 minutes later, two people were shot in the 3600 block of N 53rd Street. Around 9:15 p.m. a 29-year-old man was killed and a 27-year-old was wounded when a man opened fire during what investigators believe to have been a drug transaction. The 27-year-old received non-life threatening injuries. The incident is under investigation.
