UPDATE: Pleasant Prairie Police Did Not Find Threat to Be Credible
UPDATE: The Pleasant Prairie police said they did not find anything suspicious on the school grounds or in the building, did not find the threat to be credible and are confident that the school is a safe place for students to return to tomorrow.
ORIGINAL: CBS 58 has learned that all students and staff have been been evacuated from Pleasant Prairie Elementary School on Monday morning due to a threat made against the school. We reached out to the Kenosha Unified School District for a statement about the incident and here is what they are saying:
"Pleasant Prairie Elementary School has been evacuated due to a threat made against the school and are working closely with the Pleasant Prairie Police Department to investigate the threat. Students and staff have been moved to a safe location while the investigation takes place. Parents may pick their child(red) up by bringing a photo ID to Mahone Middle School, 6900 60th St., at 1:30 p.m., but not until 1:30 p.m. All students and staff are safe and no one was harmed due to this incident."
