Voting begins on names for falcon chicks at We Energies

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The newest batch of peregrine falcon chicks are set to hatch as early as next week, and We Energies needs your help naming them!
The theme for this round of names is Wisconsin Olympians, many of whom joined We Energies officials on Wednesday, April 24 at the Petit National Ice Center to kickstart the voting period. 

"We're excited that we can kind of be part of it and we hope that all of you will vote often and get our names up on those birds and we'll see where they go," said Bonnie Blair-Cruikshank, five-time Olympic Gold Medalist in Speed Skating. 

Blair-Cruikshank's name in the contest will be "Birdie Blair."

Other names in connection include "Hero," which honors Wisconsin's Special Olympic athletes, and "Khash," in honor of gold-medalist Bucks forward Khris Middleton.
